Crawshaw family

I have traced the Crawshaw family back to 1588/9, the year after the Spanish Armada, when John Crawshaw from the parish of Silkstone moved to Fairest / Fair Hurst near Bolsterstone upon his marriage to Ellen Broomhead at Bradfield parish church in 1588/9.  My ancestors stayed rooted in Bradfield Dale for centuries.  The Broomheads are an even older local family.
